Sausage Walk Italia arrives at Castel Romano: a day dedicated to dachshunds & friends

The meeting point is at 10:30 am at Castel Romano Designer Outlet, Via Ponte di Piscina Cupa 64. The walk will start at 11:00 am from Piazza del Dinosauro, taking participants through the Outlet and towards the CASTEL ROMANO WWF AFFILIATED OASIS. 

Participation is free and open to everyone, with no registration required. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a range of activities designed especially for dogs and their owners, including Dog Agility with qualified instructors, nutritional advice by Farmina and guided tours of the CASTEL ROMANO WWF AFFILIATED OASIS with WWF guides. 

The Sausage Walk will also be an opportunity to support Bassotti… e poi più – ODV, an association dedicated to rescuing and caring for dachshunds in need. To support the cause, official merchandise can be purchased directly at the event on 25 October, including Halloween-themed bandanas and bow ties.

A special gift for participants
Every Sausage Walk participant will receive an exclusive gift to collect at the Harmont & Blaine store: a cute dachshund-shaped pin.

For the occasion, Bollicine&Co will offer a special “Bassotti & Bollicine” menu, created to make the day enjoyable for both visitors and their four-legged companions. 

For breakfast (€6), guests can choose between Lavazza 1895 coffee, cappuccino or fresh orange juice, served with a Casa Manfredi pastry of their choice: plain or filled croissant, pain au chocolat, chocolate chip swirl or pain suisse. Four-legged guests will also receive a bowl of fresh water and a small dog-friendly snack. 

For lunch, the special menu (€25) includes braised beef cheek with potato and carrot cream, warm focaccia, cheesecake and water. Once again, fresh water and a small dog-friendly snack will be available for our four-legged guests.
